About Celebrate Fuquay-Varina!
The festival is held annually the first weekend in June. In 2013, the festival will be held on Thursday, May 30 and Saturday, June 1. Annually, more than 10,000 people attend the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina festival.
How do we Celebrate Fuquay-Varina? With lots of food, live entertainment, arts and crafts, a classic car show, and tons of children’s activities. This free festival is truly family fun, in Fuquay-Varina style!
On Thursday, June, listen to the sounds of Spare Change. This year the street concert will be held in historic Varina on Broad Street. Bring lawn chairs! The concert is free and begins at 7:30 pm.
On Saturday, June 7 from 10 am - 4 pm, the festival features live entertainment, children and youth activities, classic cars, art and craft vendors, and fabulous food. Plan to make a day of it!
Celebrate Fuquay-Varina covers several blocks in downtown Fuquay. On Saturday, June 1, Main Street will be closed to motor traffic from Academy Street to Spring Street. Side streets adjacent to this area will also be closed. Please plan driving routes accordingly. See the Getting Around Section for advice on parking, maps, transportation the day of the event and places to stay.
